When I hear the word rainbow, I obviously think about colours…and a lot of them! I don’t think about them in any specific order though, I think about the natural world and how wonderful it is. I don’t see hierarchy in colours. I see light and movement. Eventually, I start thinking about human beings and how wonderfully intricate they are. I also think about how we all will stop and stare when a rainbow appears in the sky…We’re all in awe of a rainbow. A rainbow is a symbol of hope and joy. It says: Everything will be alright in the end. I love rainbows and colours for that exact reason. Colours are hopeful and beautiful.

For Evermade, I chose to represent a woman with a huge, flowy, colourful mane of hair. She’s powerful, proud, confident and she shines bright. She only spreads colour and light. Her name is Joy.
