From his rockpool home, he loves watching the humans who live near the shore. Then, one stormy night, a strange magic connects their worlds sparking a remarkable caper in which the crustation becomes mayor of Crabbiton, a cruel cabal plot to cook him for their dinner, and a tiny town grows closer to nature.
